Site Instructions

This website is under major re-construction, and there are a lot of new features! Here's what you need to know to get the most out it.

~ Older Pages ~

~ New Navigation Menu ~

• Many new pages all have a set of quick links at the bottom. The first one looks like and it opens the main NAV menu. There you'll find links and sub-links to nearly every page in the website


• You can view these instructions again by clicking the HELP button on the Main NAV menu.


• Some new pages are part of a series, so they won't have a full NAV menu. In those cases a floating button will allow quick return you to the page you came from. In multi page stories, links to the NEXT page will show up too.


• The NEWS link opens a page where you can read dated news entries, from the very beginning of the website in 2001 through the latest. In addition to the main Nav menu, the NEWS page has its own easy-breezy menu for getting around.


• On the MUSIC Page you can listen to samples of all my original music, plus some other goodies. Everyone who has donated in support of this website can listen to full versions of my music, or download high quality files on request.


• The HOME link returns you to The main landing area, appropriately names Peter pan's Home Page


• the EMAIL Opens a form you can use to contact me. I welcome all friendly letters, and appreciate folks letting me know about website problems or suggestions.

~ Photo and Video Features ~

• Avoid pinch-zooming photos the usual way. On new pages, most photos here will automatically 'zoom' to the size of your screen when clicked or tapped, which sometimes will offer a higher resolution photo! On desktop computers clicking a second time just un-zooms. But if you tap a zoomed image within 2 seconds on a mobile device, it will re-open the photo on a new page, where you can pinch-zoom to the limits of your phone or device. Tap again to close the new page and return to the page where you found the photo. If you wait more than 2 seconds, your second tap will simply un-zoom the picture.


• Some pages offer videos. These should play on all devices, even some very old ones that needed FLASH.

~ Other Stuff ~

• This site uses cookies to assist in navigation. Things won't work properly if you disable them


• During the website re-construction, pages may load slower. For the techie folks out there, this is because it is necessary to disable browser 'caching' during development. As the site nears completion, caching will be re-enabled again, and the site should load much faster


• Regarding browser support, I'm doing my best to include older browsers during the rebuild, but there are unfortunate limits. The last browser versions available to Windows-XP and beyond (including Chrome, Firefox, and even Internet Explorer-8) will work, and most android and Apple devices will also work fine. Naturally newer browsers will work better. If a page's content is missing or not working at all, please report these problems and errors to me if you are able.


• I'll do my best to keep old pages around for fans with older machines. They won't be updated anymore, but at least they won't go away. For example, you can click here for the Classic Old Home Page.
