News Page Help
This page lets you view all News updates from Peter Pan's Home Page, since the site first began in 2001. Newer pages are always on top. You can manually scroll through the stories, or use the News Navigation tool (photo above) to get around more quickly. It will always stay near the top of the screen once you've gone to the first story. Here's how it works..."
- Current: Clicking or tapping brings you to the top of whatever news story you are currently viewing. (If you haven't viewed any yet, it scrolls to the latest update)
- Latest: Takes you to the most recently added news.
- Oldest: Takes you to the very first entry. Start here for a complete history, and click "NEXT" to progress one post at a time.
- Prev: Takes you to the last older news item.
- Next: Takes you to the next newer news item.
- ? re-displays this 'help' screen.
Some Details
If you click/tap an option on the control that can't do anything, the news item you're viewing will momentarily flash. For example, if you are already viewing the latest news entry and choose "Latest" again, no action is possible. Each news item has a small page number at the upper left. Since newer stories are added to the top, the oldest page will be "1". Each blog/news entry has a large date.
As with other updated web pages, I've added my photo 'zoom' feature, so you can tap or click some of the photos for a bigger view. BUT... many older low-resolution photos will be blurry if you attempt to enlarge them. In fact the zoom is disabled on some very small photos.
One other problem I can't do anything about is broken links, especially on the older news stories. Sadly a lot of websites don't have the longevity of Peter Pan's Home Page.
If you follow the history here, you may notice that sometimes there are long date gaps between updates. But this is normal... there are no omissions. Finally, I strongly encourage you to join my Facebook group for more 'sneak peeks' about coming updates and discussion.
